How to remove mildew stains from a vinyl shower curtain?
Without discolouring it?

Put in bucket of diluted water/household bleach. Say a gallon bucket with about 1/4 pint bleach.Works a treat.

Clorox clean-up spray, Lime Away or good old vinegar and soapy water or scrub on baking soda, let set for about 5 minutes , then rinse with hot water.

The very best thing is to throw it away, and start over.

Then neatly trim off the tiny bottom hem off of the new vinyl liner. It doesn't do anything except collect water and grow mold.

You can also put a vinyl shower curtain in the washing machine, if you can make sure that the machine will always be on WARM (both wash and rinse!) try a little detergent and Clorox, and wash them with a couple of old towels. Otherwise, the cold water can make it crack.

Of course, my son thinks this is crazy, because he just throws old ones away. The Bum!

Wash it in vinegar or Tide or anything with bleach.

buy a new one theyre really cheap

Spray with bleach water wait a few mins wash and rinse.

Wash it in warm water with 2 cup of bleach..Vinyl shouldn't change color.

Wash in machine with hot water and bleach. Can't discolor vinyl.

put some warm water into your tub, add some (about1/4cup)laundry soap. Put the shower curtain into the tub. Take off your socks and shoes and roll up your pant legs and dance on the curtain for about 5 or 10 minutes(if you have kids have them join in the fun). Then take it out and hang it back up on the rod. Staighten it out after you hang it, this will also help get most of the soap off and let it dry.

I spray the mildew/mold areas while shower curtain is still hanging up in shower with any type of mold/mildew remover. Make sure you spray that pesty area at the bottom of the curtain too. Also make sure you have the curtain inside of the tub or you'll have a mess! ;0)
After spraying let it sit on the curtain for a good 5 minutes, then spray or rinse with hot water. Check and make sure you didn't miss any spots, if you did miss some spots, redo those areas. Works like a charm.
* I use Tilex Mold and Mildew Remover but there's quite a few brands available.

Put it in the washer with a towel and some bleach on low agitation. The towel causes friction and will help the bleach do its job.

take it down and put it the tub with some dish soap let it soak for while then wash it in the tub by hand

HOT WATER AND SOAP BAR!!!
OH AND A RUFF SPONGE!!

Wash machine and bleach

I would get a new on at Wal-mart for under ten dollars. Removing the stains will be more trouble than it's worth, and you will never be able to completely get rid of the stains.

Yes, you can wash and bleach but I would just buy a new one. They are cheap!!
