How do you clean a curtain liner for the shower.?
I put mine in the washing machine with tide and bleach .It's best to skip the spin cycle. Take and shake it out and it will dry in no time.
I turn the rod to the inside of the tub so that when I press on the curtin it is up against the wall - that makes it easier. I use pinesole or any cleaning solution and a sponge. I just spray it on and wipe it off - takes just a few min then I turn the rod back to the correct side of the tub. I just found it is easier to scrub something that stays still.
I just buy a new one. They're relatively inexpensive and it's easier to just hang a new one then take the old one down and scrub it.
Just buy a new one for Christmas, if the old one is "moldy."
i just buy a new one
or try cleaning it with bleach and comet
lol. My first reaction to this is throw it out..you can buy them at the 99cent store for cheap.. but maybe you have a more durable liner. My mom just sprays a good cleaner..one with bleach and mildew remover on it..and leaves it. you might want to take it down from the rod and just drape it over the tub..so you dont get streaks of clean with a dirty background. next my mom just turns on a blazing hot shower and rinses it off. not a lot of scrubbing..and if the cleaner works good itll come right off. I hope that yours is past the point of no return.
I just spray a little Clorox Cleanup on it, let it sit for like 10 minutes, wipe it down with a sponge, and rince. Just make sure to not overdo it on the clorox so u don't end up smelling bleach for the next 6 hours!
you can put it in the washing machine it is the quickest and simplest way. or you can spray some bathroom cleaner on it and then let it sit. after a few mins wipe and rince
You can put it in the washing machine; works great!! Just don't put it in the dryer - hang it back up to dry.
I actually run mine through the washing machine with a little bleach and detergent. Depends on how bad you let it get before you wash it! Sometimes you just gotta buy a new one.
you can get one at the .99cent store... just buy one...
weak solution of Bleach works for me
I wash it in hot bleach water
most of the time they are a pain to clean, but here are a couple of things I do. After I shower I have a spray bottle of diluted bleach that I spray it down with, even the worst shower liner will be sparkly in less than a week if done every day. Or if you want a once a week thing, you can take it off the hooks and fill the bath with water and pour bleach in it a soak it for a couple hours. re hang and then rinse.
Usually dear, ya just go get a new one from the dollar store BUT if u cannot then spray it with bleach water (regular spray bottle size w/ 1/8th cup of bleach) wait for 10 or more minutes as that will remove much of the scum and mold then get a scrubby green sponge or SOS pad and just swipe it and rinse. (u may have to take it down so its against something hard like the floor if u really need to scrub hard) A little cleanser like comet helps. Keep the spray bottle of bleach water under the sink and every other day or so just mist your shower area & curtains with it to keep it cleaner, longer.
Put it in the washing machine with some white shoes (sneaks) that need to be cleaned, and add some bleach; they'll beat the crap right off it. lol
wash it--for stains mildew use an all purpose cleaner. Do not put in dryer. and You will be just FINE!
Like a computer, throw it away and buy a new one.
Take it down.
Put it in the washer with one of the above combinations of detergent.
Place a dirty towel in the washer with it to help rub off the slippery surface of the liner.
Take it out of the washer when done.
Inspect for holes. (Go to the dollar store and get a new one if there are holes.)
Hang it back up.
with a sponge and soapy water
I wash mine in the laundry with the shower curtain.
lay it out flat on a smooth hard serface. then get a bucket of hot soapy water scrub the curtain the use a wet rag to rinse the soap of then dry with a clean towel flip curtain over and repeat process.
I buy the cheap kind and throw it away every month. You can get them at the dollar stores for a buck. Why wash it?
fill the tub up quarter way with water and a little bleach let soak for awhile take it outside and sqert it down
Go to the dollar store like i do and pick up a bunch of them. I replace mine every month.
I put mine in the washing machine with bleach. Works great but don't dry it in your dryer air dry it.
