How can i clean hard water and soap scum and iron stains off of a vinyl shower curtain?
If lime away has not cleaned it, then toss your curtain. I used to have an expensive linen curtain for the outside of the tub, and use a cheap one from the dollar store for a liner...so when it gets where I could not clean it from the well water, I would just toss it. When starting with a new curtain, wash it often and do not allow build up to start.
I used to throw my liner in the washing machine to clean it..if you plan on doing this, then a mid range priced curtain will be sturdy enough to handle the washing machine..cheap ones do not hold up well.
The cleaning supplies to do this are probably more expensive than buying a new vinyl curtain. You can get a new shower curtain at Wal-Mart is around $6 and CLR is about $10.
denture cleaning tablets work for getting it off of shower heads. i'd try putting one in a spray bottle or in a bowl and use a sponge.
I always had good luck washing vinyl shower curtains in the washing matching with a couple towels. Hang back up to dry
